Pacific Federal Insurance Corporation (PFIC) is the parent company of PFBA and began in 1990 with the purchase of group health clients from Marsh & McLennan. The principals are Michael Cox and James Garrison. Both individuals entered the insurance business in the early 1970’s, and equally supplement the corporation with extensive backgrounds in administration, claims, marketing and underwriting. Their combined experience provides over 60 years in the health insurance industry.
Group Insurance Services
PacFed Insurance Services, Inc. (PFIS) is a licensed insurance agency specializing in employee benefit programs. Formed in 1977, PFIS provides consulting services to large employers and ERISA clients. Taft-Hartley clients of PacFed Benefit Administrators receive field and open enrollment services from PFIS staff.
Technology
Outsource Depot, Inc. (ODI) performs software and computer support in addition to owning the proprietary administration and web software.
